Control Panel
PROTEC builds pneumatic, hydraulic and electric control panels to control and operate a variety of equipment for both onshore and offshore applications. We can build to customer specification or we can design the panel for a particular use. Following are some control panels built by PROTEC.
Hull Ballast Control System
A hull ballast control system is used to control the buoyancy, yaw, roll and position of an offshore platform relative to GPS coordinates by adjusting the buoyancy of individual elements of the hull structure. Such a system is required because the platform load varies as production volumes in the internal storage tanks increase and decrease and also the impact of ocean currents and weather conditions on the platform must be compensated for in order to maintain desirable positioning. Special Equipment
PROTEC also manufactures a variety of specialty equipment for the oil and gas industry such as Nitrogen Booster Units, Hydraulic Test Units, Ball Screw Presses, Pressure Test Assemblies, Pressure Gauge Panels, Sand Sampling Systems and Tensioning Panels. PROTEC is always interested in taking on new projects that may require the manufacture of new and unique equipment. Following are photographs of some of the specialty equipment we have built.
Field Service & Rental Equipment
PROTEC has experienced technicians available to service our equipment at our customers’ domestic and international sites, onshore or offshore. We also have available rental equipment that can be shipped to the service site to support the service job. Such equipment includes test and flushing HPU’s, hydro pressure test stands, chart recorders, general use tools, etc.
